IB

Officially Authorised

Verified IB World School status for the PYP and MYP — listed on the IB's official registry.

Inquiry-Led, Student-Centred

Children investigate, discuss and create — teachers guide, they don't lecture.

Holistic & Future-Ready

Academics, arts, sport, service and wellbeing — developed together, every day.

The Harvest IB Difference

An education designed around how children actually learn.

Walk into a Harvest IB classroom and you won't see rows of silent children copying from a board. You'll see small groups debating, building, testing and presenting — because that is how deep understanding is built.

"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn."

— the idea at the heart of every IB classroom
01

Inquiry-Led Learning

Instead of memorising chapters, your child investigates real questions — "Why do cities flood?" "How does music move people?" Understanding runs deep because it was earned, not handed over.

02

Student Agency

Children help shape their learning, set goals and reflect on progress — building ownership and voice from the earliest years.

03

International-Mindedness

Global contexts and multiple perspectives teach children to think beyond borders — and to respect the people who live across them.

04

Holistic Development

Arts, sport, service and wellbeing are timetabled — not optional extras. We educate the whole child, not just the exam.

05

Future-Ready Skills

Critical thinking, research, collaboration and communication — abilities that outlast any syllabus and compound for life.

Why IB Over Rote Learning

The same classroom hour can teach very different things.

A traditional, rote-focused classroom

What most of us grew up with

  • Memorise the answer, repeat it in the exam
  • One "right" way to learn, one right answer
  • Subjects taught in isolation from each other
  • Progress measured only by marks
  • Questions from students often slow the syllabus

The Harvest IB classroom

What your child gets every day

  • Investigate real-world problems from multiple angles
  • Multiple ways to show understanding — projects, talks, models
  • Transdisciplinary units that connect science, language, arts
  • Portfolios, reflection and feedback — not just marks
  • Questions drive the lesson — curiosity is the syllabus

Why Parents Choose Harvest IB

Not just international in name. International in practice.

01

An authorised IB World School — not "IB-inspired".

Any school can borrow IB language. Harvest holds formal IB authorisation for the PYP and MYP, independently evaluated against the IB's global standards for teaching, curriculum and care.

02

Your child is heard, not hurried.

Small classes and inquiry-led teaching mean teachers know how your child thinks — and give them real choices and voice in their own learning, every single day.

03

Character and wellbeing, alongside academics.

Service, arts, sport and reflection are part of the timetable — developing balanced, principled learners, not just high scorers.

04

A safe, green campus on Sarjapur Road.

CCTV, GPS-tracked buses, secure single-entry and a calm, leafy environment — parents consistently tell us how unhurried the campus feels.

Parent Testimonials

Real experiences from Harvest IB parents.

My daughter used to memorise. Now she asks why things work and finds out herself. The IB way of teaching has genuinely changed how she learns at home too.

— Parent, PYP Grade 4

Moving from another board was seamless. The teachers supported my son through every step of settling into the MYP — academically and emotionally.

— Parent, MYP Grade 8

The campus feels calm and safe, and the GPS bus tracking gives me complete peace of mind during his daily commute from HSR Layout.

— Parent, MYP Grade 7

We compared several international schools near Sarjapur Road. What stood out was how confident and happy the Harvest students seemed during our visit.

FAQ

Questions parents ask us most.

What does "authorised IB World School" mean?
It means the International Baccalaureate has formally authorised Harvest International School to offer its PYP and MYP programmes. The school is regularly evaluated by the IB against global standards for teaching quality, curriculum and student welfare — unlike schools that merely claim to be "IB-inspired". You can verify our status on the official IB website.
Which IB programmes does Harvest offer?
We offer the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP, Nursery–Grade 5) and the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP, Grades 6–10), giving your child a continuous, internationally benchmarked education through their formative years.
Is the IB recognised in India for further studies?
Yes. The IB is recognised by the Association of Indian Universities and by boards and universities worldwide. MYP students transition smoothly into IBDP, A-Levels or CBSE/ISC senior secondary programmes in India or abroad.
We're currently in CBSE/ICSE. Can my child switch to IB?
Absolutely. Children adapt well because IB learning builds on concepts rather than rote content. Our teachers run a structured orientation and provide individual support during each child's first term in the programme.
What documents are required for admission?
Typically the child's birth certificate, recent photographs, previous school's report card / transfer certificate (for Grade 2 and above), and address & ID proof of parents. Our team shares the exact checklist after your enquiry.
How do I get the fee structure and book a visit?
Fill out the enquiry form on this page or call 080 6733 1884. We'll share the current 2027-28 fee structure, confirm seat availability for your child's grade, and schedule a convenient campus tour.
